The Official Quartzite 2015 Thread!
« on: November 13, 2014, 08:08:18 PM »
OK..
Quartzite is just around the bend.

If you are going to be a vendor at the shows, let us know your booth number and which show you will be at and what dates you will be at those events since some run longer than others.

If you need a ride or a place to crash, this is a good place to ask.

Party Hearty at the Big Q this year!  yippie24

Looking forward to it.  I plan to be at the BBQ again.  Maybe this year I will hang out a little longer and socialize more.  I crashed out early last time.  All the rocks had worn me out!

It's a long drive frm Albuquerque, but if I can talk a friend or two into gong and sharing gas, I'm gonna try!

Tucson is a lot closer,,, would that be a better show to go to buy rough?

I will miss your BBQ this year. My wife will be going through in Feb and I will make sure she stops and introduces herself. She is flying to LA to meet her sister and they are driving to Tucson for a week. They will stop in Quartzsite on their way. wish you the best with your booth.

Amanda graciously  invited me to stay with her.   I'm still trying to swing it.   I would love to meet you and taste one of your cookies.  With luck Mississippi will be at the POW WOW.

Looking like I will finally make it to the show this year! I became part of the ALAA itself back in the summer as the Eastern Washington representative. The organization's annual meeting is on the 24th and the ALAA/BLM cleanup event on sunday. So, now back to my original question that I first raised a couple of years ago....where's the place for nightlife? Im a little older now (40) but refuse to completely grow up lol. As of now, there' no rooms left that I know of in Quartzite. Blythe may end up being the town that I will be staying in. Are there any rockhounding trips scheduled during that weekend?
Just because one wanders does not mean that one is lost....Some bumper sticker I saw in Moab, Utah
