There are so many more resources available now that we  have the internet, when I started there was a book or two and OJT and the melting of lots of metal. I still have my first "mess" around here some place, more solder than silver.

It is kind of fun to find an old piece that at the time I thought was a spectacular creation only to rate it today as a "mess".

Yeah, I run across one of my early fake Native American works at estate sale every once in awhile and see what a mess it is and then see the price on it and ask the estate agent why so high and the agent then goes in to a long explanation about how to tell "authentic" NA work by the "crude" soldering because they use blow pipes and charcoal. I got a chuckle out of that one, still it's nice to see the higher prices on my old messy work even if it is a lie, silly people. dunno28
