It appears that Engis makes lapping equipment, etc. for industrial use.  You might be able to contact them via their website and find out exactly what your machine was intended for.

Very nice!  You're doing really well.   yippie24

Carry on!

This is a 5 year old thread.  Very possible he took them off his hosting site.

There ya go!  Steve - take a selfie making a mean face for Kurt to copy and post it up.  You'll be memorialized forever in one of Kurt's creations!   yippie24

That dang band saw hated me!  I finally ended up putting it in a corner on double-secret probation until I found someone willing to take it off my hands.  Bought a Gemini II ring saw instead which liked me much more and I it  (the III's weren't out yet).
This was back when I was doing stained glass work (before rocks).  Worked a treat on the glass, as I was making a Tiffany style lamp (that I never finished because - opals).  Someday I'm gonna finish that thing.  Maybe I'll drag it out from wherever it may be hiding and see if it still works. I know I needed to replace the yellow and red gizmos.

Just saw this used Genie on Ebay:

It still has some time to go and it will probably go close to $1,000, but they do show up every now and then.

You did really good with your site!  Loved reading the stories, too.  Next time you're up in Prescott, let us know and we'll show you where the "I'm going to put my right foot on the left side of your face" scene took place and where Bernard driving his car into the lake happened.

I would make one suggestion:  Code yourself up a footer that copyrights your stuff and have it show at the bottom of each page.

Michael, thanks for the report!  It has been a long time since you've done a Testing to Destruction post.  It was fun seeing a new one!

Bummer about the cracks.  I can see the one by the mouth.  That rhodonite color is so special, you should spring for some hxtal to fix it.  The jade fishy is going to be gorgeous, too.
