Parts for old equipment
« on: February 16, 2016, 08:48:18 AM »
Hi everyone
I was hoping for some help/ideas on where to purchase parts for my old "rock's" equipment. I am missing the tension clip on one of the drums but worse yet I think my bearings are starting to go out. We did some looking online without any luck. I will include some pics but don't make fun of my archaic equipment lol thanks in advance

Drums are universal.  Just replace it with an expando type.  Get the brand and bearing number from the pillow block and call a bearing house for a replacement.  They will also provide instructions for the change out.  Usually just pressed in with a bench vise.  If you are not near a large city, it can be done on line.  If you don't want to mess with replacing the bearing in the pillow block, the whole assembly can be replaced.
