Dressing sticks that work well to dress open saw blades may not be the thing for removing glaze from resin belts or wheels.  Any stick used on wheels can possibly contaminate the wheel if particles come loose and embed in the resin.

As to dressing sticks, I buy aluminum oxide grinding wheels from Harbor Freight and they are much cheaper than any dressing sticks that I have found.  I use them on all of my saws.

I bought a 'Dressing Wheel' and it has worked well for six or seven years now.  When it finally wears down I can replace the wheels and it will be like new again. dunno28
