Wow I had no idea there were crappy expanding drums out there. I have a Covington unit that came with 2 (8 x 3) expanding drums and they work perfectly. I was thinking of buying a 3rd off eBay but maybe now I will just ask Covington about their source.

Edit: Just read the label on them. Scott-Murray Expandable Drum.

Whether you think you can, or you think you can't, you're probably right.

Kinda late, but did you find your wheels? I have two I recently took off our Covington that we're looking to sell for $45 per. We converted to diamond awhile ago.
