Nice. The nephrite we have here in Mariposa is much different. I'll have to find some and compare.

I don't know where this came from i bought about
25 lb of slabs from a friend that got it from an estate sale
Now that the weather is better I should make a trip over the hill and collect some
Mariposite to make a sphere

The Mariposa jade is about a mile away from where the Mariposite is. I know where a huge, coffee table sized, chunk of the jade is. Too big to get out.
