lignite or whitby jet wanted

wanted to carve some jet.  preferably the "hard" stuff, about/up to 4.5 on the moh scale.  wanted up to a pound.  i understand it comes from the following areas: whitby england, colorado and utah (and somewhere else in the us..just can't remember where).
