new boulder opal nut.
« on: August 14, 2022, 08:26:14 AM »

purchased this boulder opal in a live facebook show.
Cant wait to get it, leaving it in its current shape, but going to try and bring out more fire on the domed back (maybe).

I like the Egg shape it has.
The yolk is the Opal, the rest i will figure out when i receive it in the mail soon.
I will be making a pendant with it, flat lap to the face to a fine polish, i may take my foredoom to the inside, but dont know until its in my hands.
The back will remain rounded for the EGG look.
Pretty EGGScited! about this Opal.

Everyone knows i usually only make themed items. :LOLOL:

It seems to have a mermaid swimming in it. If so, I'd dremilize it carefully so that no one is hurt in the process.  Exciting indeed.

Nice dark "shell" on that nut. Those are usually nice. Look forward to hearing more after you get it.
