I posted this years ago in beads and pendants but I've forgotten what the rough is.  Its from California, I believe.

Hey Frank,

I went back in the archives and found your post on this one.  It was in December, 2013.  The rough was from Casey Haderly and you made this pendant and a Guatemalan dendritic jadeite pendant for him.  Your description was mystery plume, so I think you didn't know where Casey got it from back then, either.

I have collected in Horse Canyon for about 9 years and it doesn't look like Horse to me.  I have found a very similar plume in the North Cady Mountains however.
Instead of trying to look through my rough I just looked online and found some North Cady Plume that Adam Dean was selling on Ebay. I could only take a screen shot.

If I did look through my material it would look the same as yours also, it's just buried at the moment.

Cady sounds correct. when I contact Casey I will fess up that I forgot.I will cut some new stones from that rough and post them soon. Thanks folks.

Looks like Prueheart Plume Agate from Idaho. From same area as Prudent Man Plume agate.
