These are awesome looking! I am unfamiliar with Montana Agate though. Is that the designation or just the region. Regardless it's very cool!!

OMG!!!
Ok, I have lots of favorite rocks, but Montana Moss is quickly rising to the top!

I need to plan a vacation to Montana!  Any suggestions where a rock nut might go hounding for this awesome material?

Eastern Montana on the Yellowstone is where the Montana agate is found. I like to hunt over around Forsyth and Miles City.

I am sitting here with my jaw dropped - I am both stunned by the variations and colors of this amazing stone and in awe of the carvings. I think I need to find me some Montana Agate!! Thank you for sharing this pics!

My first cab is from a piece of jasper I found on the beach in Newport, OR my first Mother's Day, 1983. I made it into a bracelet for my daughter Christmas 2017.

Thank you.

They are quite alright, but I think I got a long way to go to have results that justify the allocates (spelling?) given.
Eventually, I will need to get some machines that allow precision. Foredome and by hand only go so far....

You've made some truly incredible art! Montana Agate is one of my favorites too! Here are a couple I just finished last week.

Love the way the second one is posed. Looks a lot like looking into a cloud-scape....
