Bare Aluminum Wheels

Folks, I appreciate your help.  New to the cabbing world.   I picked up an old Gem Tec Diamond Cabbing machine.  It has two BARE aluminum wheels.  One 1" and one 1 1/2".   I can find 1 1/2" belts but how do they stay on the bare wheel?   Do I add adhesive to the wheel, and what adhesive is suggested?   This machine is very old, but runs great.     Just didn't expect BARE wheels.  How do I dress them?   Many thanks   Darleen March
