Would similiar beach stones have any value ?  should i focus on collecting this material or do beaches have better rocks? Thanks

Beach stones are great for collecting and lapidary work in that they are already rounded and partially polished.  If you are selective in what you pick up, you can go right to the vibratory tumbler to polish them in only  a few days.  Obviously paying attention to stones without major pit indicating differences in hardness, and ones of approximately the size and shape needed for projects would be beneficial.  Collecting is also guided by the stones being wet which shows their coloration more distinctly.  Enjoy the beach.
