Yep all self collected.

On my facebook page I have a lot more of tumbled items that are favorites.

I will cut 2 or 3 of these that may have more potential. for the most part i'm leaving these as is for specimen pieces unless unless the slabs hold good stuff. For cabbing I have better material from this source that doesn't have as many fractures that looks nicer for jewelry.

I have roughly 60 stones i'm keeping for myself out of 40+ lbs of tumbled material that i'm trying to sell.

this photo gives you an idea of my average tumbled stuff in a sell bin before I sorted it by size.

I have an old large mouth wine bottle full of Montana agates that look like Botswana's
I will take images of them (some of them i mean) soon.

Nope, All local Alaskan agates that have pink, purple, black or white

You're very lucky to have such a nice variety of local agates to collect.  I'm jealous!   :thumbsup:

those red alaskans rock!
My co-workers go up there alot to visit family and collect pebbles on their camping trips to the river.
some fine red jasper comes from up north.

Yep, those are just the local river stuff... the agates are  distance out that is like traveling from one state to another.

Our jasper is fairly unique depending on where it comes from. Some of it I can tell where it comes from just by the patterns in it.
