That shot's a bit too close for me to guess what it is.

Looks like some colorplay in the first photo - made me think of fire agate.

It'll be easier if you also post a regular photo, not just macros, with a coin, a hand, or a banana for scale  :smiley:

Also, do you know where the stone was found?

Second is mafic intrusive. Look into grading relationships between gabbro, diorite and granite; you'll find something similar in the intermediary classifications. Looks like high silica, plagioclase feldspar and lots of biotite mica. Good luck!

May be gravel fill, may be off a monument- diorites are and were commonly utilized for both 'cause it's tuff stuff!
