I THINK I found the problem.  Somehow someone made it so no one under a certain posting level could upload an avatar?  I fixed that.  I think.

Try uploading as a .Jpeg file instead of a .png file and see if that makes a difference.
I'm trying to troubleshoot where the problem is.  It's showing in the forum that you uploaded an avatar and that I did as well, but they aren't coming up.  It's weird.

Hi - all of my attempts were jpg files.  And yeah, weird.  Some forums I've been to don't allow posting of avatars by new members, so I was wondering if that was the case.  I think there is a setting for it in some forum softwares.

In the long run, not a big deal, I was just tinkering.  So no worries.

Hmmm, doesn't seem to be working yet.  Maybe it still needs that couple of hours you mentioned earlier?

OK I fiddled with a few more settings.  Give it a shot.

If it is still not working I'm going to have to kick some forum code rear end because I adjusted all the things I felt might be giving it a problem.

I went into another area and adjusted a setting.  If that didn't work I wave the white flag.

I guess it kinda works now; My avatar is now a framed X LOL

Alright I give up.  Time for Phishisgroovin to step in.  I've adjusted like 6 settings, and I still cannot make it work.

And just because sometimes cookies raise issues...
Do my sanity a favor and close your browser, empty out your cache, delete all cookies, reboot your computer and try again.
If that doesn't work.  Wait for Randy to get done with work and check in.

Sorry, was longer than "a bit" - I had to start dinner.  And while it was simmering, I had to smooth out the tiger's eye cab I'm working on.  You know how that goes.   

Anyway, uploaded avatar pic, 75 x 75 pixels, got success message, but no pic shows up that I can see.  I did shut everything down and restart browser and OS, so that's not it.
