Very nice indeed.  Funny, I asked my brother what he wanted for Xmas and he responded that he wanted a bunch of rock so he can work on the buck 110's he bought.  I was going through the material to take him and Hawkseye was at the top of the list.  He is pretty new at knives and can only hope his turn out as nice as yours.

Hey Steve. Are you giving him instruction?  The buck 110 is one of the easier ones to do, so he should do well. They also make some of the prettiest knifes. I have a Texas toothpick that I did recently but I am Having a hard time getting a good picture. Any pointers?

I just wish I could source the silver nickel 110's for a decent price under $50.

@ Jhon Macro photography lol.  They are so small when I shoot them I have to be in macro mode to get good shots.

@murphystone  I agree, I would love doing the nickel silver but the cost always keeps them on the wish list.  I think the silver tone always looks better with stone vs the brass with a couple of exceptions.  I got some inexpensive silver Remington's when they were on clearance from Big 5 but the quality of the knife is much lower.  Hopefully some day Buck will have a sale or just drop the price.  It would be great if they ever sold the NS 110's that have a handle issue during Quality control since we just replace them anyway.
