My present project revisited.....
« on: August 29, 2014, 09:08:09 PM »

Well I started building my next candle luminary, but it's not coming out the way I had hoped. Ya just know when it's right and this one might get scrapped. We'll see tomorrow. Hey I tried. Here's a shot of it so far.  A few hors from being done but I gotta see. It wont be the first one I crushed.

looking good so far; if you decide to crush it, take a picture first; then the artist in you can decide whether it was a rash decision...

It's supposed to finish in a similar manor as this one. Variety of colors and a nice satin like glow. This one is dismal lit. I might not of cut the stones thin enough.

A mood Light?  Hmmm......I can see part time jobs might be needed all around, either that are some people ( not mentioning any names mind you )  have some issues....Naaah....The more I look at it, it's getting lets just say modified severely. I appreciate the advise but it has to sit on a show table and actually look good. It DONT. So back to work.

I know shipping is an issue, but.
I have been in the stained glass for over 25 years.   Do you have any idea how much scrap glass you can collect in 25 years of doing glass professionally?   If this seems like something you might be interested in, and you can find a way that you find shipping prices to be viable, I will happily ship you as much as you want.   Smaller stuff, colors vary, but I've got quite the selection.   No charge for the scrap.  Just let me know.

Dammm, I spent the last 50 years in the Poconos ( Penna. ) and now I live in Washington State. You are so sweet. But I do have a lot of glass my self and a custom glass house out here does me justice on scrap glass. Again, thanks for your offer. Maybe next July when I am going to be in your back yard for a month visiting family in Philly I might give you a shout. But for now, Thank you.
