Here are a few pieces of my Australian Opal.... One I think is from the Boulder mine.. The others are bone with Opal in it..

Boulder opal is a type of opal, not a particular mine. I think the other pieces look like they could possibly be Coober Pedy, maybe fossil clamshell pieces or just opal. What is the last piece? Is that the one you thought was a fossil bone? It's hard to tell the shape without seeing another view. It looks like it could even be a shell from that angle.

The last one is bone....  I also just did some bartering and am getting some potch Opal from Australia... That should be interesting...
