What are they? Opal, jasper, quartz...

bag inclusions 1 011.JPG
*bag inclusions 1 011.JPG (272.93 kB . 725x1045 - viewed 486 times)I have a couple of stones (ha-ha) I would like your opinion on. From Central Mexico, harder than 5 (don't have anything around harder to test with than my pocketknife). The blueish/purplish I believe is opal. One is the stone and the 2nd is a closeup. I haven't found anything like them online. The third, I have no idea. Looks like quartz with adularescence and various colors, but, once again, can't find anything online that resembles it. First is a Sagenite Agate with a little Quartz on one end.  The white needle like structure you see on the agate side of those brown areas are the sagenite needles.  The Second piece is a bit of Moss Agate, both very nice.

Yeah that second one looks like it'd be a nice red moss agate.

Is it possible the first, the agate/quartz is Ferruginous quartz?
