Wiley's Well cabs
« on: January 07, 2017, 02:14:27 PM »

Howdy. Haven't posted any cabs in a while. Our rock club went out to Wiley's Well by Blythe, Ca recently. We came back with some geodes from the Hauser Beds, but my favorite stuff from the trip was all the cabbing material we found. We got some fine lined rhyolite across the canyon from the Potato Patch. Sometimes the lines were all nice and parallel. Sometimes they got "squirrely". i think the squirrel designs are prettier.

I collected and cut that rhyolite years ago, very interesting rock.
