I just found this and haven't been able to hardness test it yet.  At first I thought it was rodingite because of the color of the raised areas, then I realized it looks like a de-vitrified basalt.  The gemmy part has got me.  The good thing is, there's a little bit of the same type of rough on the bottom that I can chip off and cut, which I will, when the electric comes on!

looks like a gas pocket or a vug of sort. iv seen other types of geode with many cracks and the agate or jasper in your. fills in the vug complete with the exact print of the gas pocket.

     Brazilian agates are known for that
