Turquoise necklace & earrings
« on: December 24, 2023, 12:56:05 PM »

After years of not making anything, yesterday I decided to go to rock shop and make something.
Awhile back i seen a destroyed purse with these big turquoise nuggs on it in a cross shape, purse was destroyed so i plucked the artificial turquoise nuggets from it.
Tossed them in my bag and kept shopping (goodwill outlet everything goes in a bag and sold by the pound).

Had a vision in my head to make matching necklace and earrings, this was my final product.
purchased authentic turquoise beads and crimps, a bail and a couple rings.
Came up with these.

Its been probably 3 years or so since i made anything.

The dyed fake turquoise almost fooled Glen at the store until finally he did some type of test in the back room in them to show they were fake, BUT they look really nice on the strands.
