Woohoo! Ok, we'll see how loading the pretty goes. :D
I finished this Friday, it is a perfect fit for ME! Sterling and 14kgold, setting for a 25c piece of Carico Lake Sacred Buffalo turquoise/variscite/other stuff. Really pretty rare, and very nice. So excited. :)

Thank you. I just drooled all over my keyboard!
That is amazingly beautiful. :D

That is beautiful, Ice! Why is it every time you make a piece of jewelry, it always fits you??? Hmmmmm? :))
-
Nice work there! It seems every time I make a ring it fits my wife and she claims it, oh well, it has to fit someone. ::)

Isn't it amazing, when we find some really rare or special stone, that it comes out either fitting us or someone we love? :P I have to admit, if it is that much of an oddity, I get the first, then the rest are up for grabs. And that also allows for designs and creativity that might not sell as well in a more normalized market. Thanks for the compliments. Now I just need to experiment with putting that watermark on...

This is GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOWSERS!!!!!

Really nice ring. :) I have not seen the white buffalo in a while. Nice to see it again. Hope to see more of you work. Eric.

This isn't actually white buffalo. That is a calcite product and the Ottesons mine that. This is turquoise from the Carico Lake mine. Hard and takes an awesome shine. More like the old Sacred Buffalo from the Dry Creek area. I would happily walk away with pounds of it, but alas I only have a few ounces. Ah well. :) I'm thinking about a pinkie ring now, yes in my very own size. 8)

Thanks for the clarification, I appreciate it. :) I did not know the differences. There are a few similar names out there that make things confusing. Really pretty gem. Eric

Hi Eric,]
What is that in your avatar? It looks like some killer variscite? I have tried to enlarge several avatars, and unfortunately that does not appear possible. :(
-
That is a chalcosiderite from the Royal Web/New Lander mine. It is referred to as New Lander turquoise by some people. I am sure that it is a mix of things. I really like the black webbing. Eric.
-
Yes, I can see that now, thank you! Bigger image is much nicer! ;) I've got some New Lander, some prettier than others. Your's is most excellent!
-
Great stone, complimented by an excellent setting. :notworthy:

I really love this and the main reason I keep finding ways to come inside and get on my computer! AMAZING!!!!
-
Beautiful would not be close to describing this. Amazing..thankyou.
-
Your work is wonderful. Design and craftsmanship. You put all the elements together and made is work perfect.

Ha! Thank you to all of you!! :icon_sunny: I've got the piece for a pinkie ring, another one or two for a bracelet, then some polished nuggets for a necklace/earrings? Just can't decide what to do with those nuggets, probably because it involves drilling. I have got to go get more involved in that drilling chat that included the conversation about the ultrasonic drill..........
