Hey All
Im thinking of switching from flat lap to drum grind & polish machine
The flat lap is my 1st and only machine Ive ever used and Ive only been cabbing for about 5 yrs
If any of you folks were in my boat which machine would you lean towards
Also my space is limited
I'll cut right to it any thoughts on a Pixie

Pixies are great machines.  The only thing is that it will be hard to do very large cabs because of the spacing between the wheels.

The Pixie is fine for occasional use but it is slower and as stated, large cabs get difficult.  If you have room I would look at the many Genie clones.  There is a reason no one copies the Pixie.

   I have bought from them..... prices are great. Delivery took awhile on dual 8 inch wet grinder. People really were not the best at customer relations. Nothing polite to say about them other than prices.

Johns does not make machines.  If you are looking at the Covington, they are a well respected manufacturer.  I can't say I have used any of their cabbing machines though.

I have used  a modern Covington and it seemed fine , a bit old fashioned in style but those styles were what lasted for decades.
