Sourced from same rock pile as an Indian Paint stone I inquired about earlier, but this is a bit different.  Two photos attached in its cube form (I did not do any cutting on it).  A nail would not scratch it, so thinking maybe a banded rhyolite?  Other?  Thanks in advance.

I just mucked around on a hillside full of that stuff, I'd agree with the banded rhyolite!

This rock looks very similar to Lizard Stone or Lizard Skin Stone.
