Fossilized Dragon Eye
« on: August 19, 2019, 11:34:51 AM »

Okay that’s what my kids like to call it.  This is an unknown agate mixed with a very nice pattern of rhyolite.  It was if it was a plant or something.  Where the original stone (Pictured) came from is sadly unknown.  This stone was found at a rock shop and was part of an estate purchase.  Sandsave was kind enough to share a cube of it.  Thanks Jay.

That turned out great!  The rock has features similar to some of the plume agates (i.e. Graveyard point, etc.) with the edges forming plume shapes towards the center.  Really nice result in that sphere.

Woah Nelly! I don’t remember saying you could have a cube :LOLOL:
It’s really neat material I’d like to know where it comes from.
