Metal on metal on metal
« on: June 14, 2017, 03:48:17 PM »

Not quite sure this is the right forum, but it's about metal, so.. here goes:

Is it possible to electroplate copper on top of silver on top of gold (resulting in three layers)?

Kinda thinking this might yield interesting effects with manual polishing.

I believe you will need to do it the other way starting with copper base then  the silver and last the gold.

Coating gold with copper makes for some very expensive copper jewelry.
