I'll be visiting family in the Kingston Washington area. Anyone know of any spots to go collecting in the area / nearest area. What is out there to be found.
Thanks

Point No Point beach just to the north has interesting material! Park at the lighthouse or at the boat launch parking lot, ignore the 'private beach' signs and walk south past the lighthouse and along the base of the bluffs. Often, long stony beaches are exposed there. It's usually an uncrowded beach and if you're rockhounding or just walking, no one will bother you. The signs are to keep people from camping in front of the homes or using people's front yard fire pits, not to discourage quiet walkers.
