Hello from Indiana
« on: August 29, 2017, 08:05:34 AM »

Hello to the group from an old timer that is getting back into the lapidary arts after an extended absence.
My 7 year old great grandson sparked my new interest. He loves geodes, fossils and crystals. I found some of my old stash and took it to him.
My granddaughter (His Mom) and I enjoyed lapidary when she was younger. I guess the apple hasn't fallen far from the tree.
It will be fun to enjoy the hobby with three of our four generations.

Smiles, Tom

Welcome from Nevada. Sounds like you have a digger in the works.  When my grandson got into high school sports became more important (now he in college) I have to all of my own digging now. Lol

Welcome.  That is fantastic that you get to share your hobby with all those generations.  I got started from an uncle who was a geologist and he had my mom get me a tumbler when I was about that age.
