what are they, 3 pieces ???
« on: July 28, 2018, 07:43:28 PM »

Probably well known to some, not me.   Any help / ideas greatly appreciated.

First piece is radiating arms. Material is similar to an opal or soft agate. Does not fizzle in muratic acid. Softer than agate. Back side shows some host material. Could just be a t-egg center, but what type of rock????

Looks like sprays of aragonite or barite to me.

Also reminds me of the actinolite we have around here.  Perhaps yours is not as green though.
