Hi guys,
These items I have made during last year. Some of them were made to order, some are gifts to friends. Hope you like it.

some more...

Wow! You made all of those? Very impressive. I love the stacked stone lamp. What kind of machinery do you use to make the large hole for the candles and lamps? How did you carve the incredibly intricate cameo and please excuse my ignorance but who is that a cameo of?

Beautiful creative endeavors. Saving rocks from obscurity and friends from mediocrity. That is a noble use of your time.

Hi guys,
The the holes for tea-light holders I made with a diamond drill bit 45mm, took the middle with a chisel and made the bottom flat and level (used tiny spirit level) with a smaller diamond bit.
The actual size of cameo is about 25cm x 15cm. So it's just a portret of Napoleon Bonaparte carved on slate.
Napoléon Bonaparte was Emperor of the French 1804-1814.
The carving took about 10 days.

Drilling smaller rocks is easy and fast. But drilling the bigger ones like the base for the lamp to put the wire thru the stone, it takes plenty of time. The grey lamp I drilled with a 10mm diamond bit during 3 hours. The red lamps I drilled 2-3 weeks. Very hard stone to drill. The length of a hole for the wire was about 20cm.

That's the bottom of the red lamp.
Sorry for large image.

awesome work. Really love the cameo, but I think the coin purse is a bit heavy for me.

Hi guys,
Some more sink stoppers - cabochons. Sodalite, Marble, Mexican Onyx.

Absolutely Fantabolous.
Love your creativity. Very inspiring, and shows that every material has its place to shine.
Tealights are fab, but I do concur with the others, Napoleon and the two lamps take the prize.
And then, the intricate, Gnome-house??? Just adorable. Creativity at its best.

Would love to know more about the end table with the infinity mirror.
The stonework is phenomenal though. Really really great design ideas and implementation.

Hope you like the ROCK PURSE.
Here is another fairy's house , made for flower shop interior last summer.

Very inspiring.

These are not only beautiful and creative, but you have done this work with stones that I only consider stepping on in rivers and creeks on the way to something else. You have the eye for original creation. Please keep it up, as we all need this inspiration. Thanks for the collection of photos!!

Love the fairy house, but that rock purse is downright ingenious!
