Most Recent Entry into the FMG Contests

This piece is about 95% polymer clay.
This was my entry for the "Creative Clays" category that Fire Mountain Gems held this year.

The picture does not do this work justice either, the details are intricate.

Yeehaw and I got word today this piece made it to the next round of judging - that's semi-finals!   :occasion14: :blob1: :headbang: :hello2:
Now I just need to ship it to Fire Mountain Gems and wait.

That's wonderful!  I'm glad that you included a link to the larger picture.   I had not realized how really intricate the work is.

Ice, it's even more intricate when you look at it in person.  It's pretty freaking amazing and hard for me to fathom the patience it must have taken.

Thanks folks!
I shipped it out back on Wednesday so Fire Mountain should have it today or tomorrow.   :toothy10:

Some of that intricate detail y'all like was done using rubber stamps.  I then antiqued it and rubbed over the raised surface with Fire Mountain's brand of wax based metallic leafing (Cannot remember the actual name right now..).
