A few too many new pendants
« on: July 31, 2024, 11:39:13 AM »

Once a year, two weekends in a row, Napa has what is called "Open Studio". About 90 local artists open their studios or shops to the public in attempts to sell their wares. A catalog/map is created to show the artist locations and a little about their crafts and it becomes a self guided tour for the general public.  My shop is primarily a wood shop but as a few here know I also have a lapidary shop and use stone to embellish my wood pieces and I make pendants.
The pendants sold well last year so I just spent some time creating a few more for the show. Here are a few:

Very inspiring to see this. I love the simple, timeless beauty of drilled cabochons without metal settings.

Nice work.  I just replaced the bearings on my 12" 2 days ago and although I haven't posted in a bit I need to.  I also need to sit down to the cabbing wheels after seeing these.
