Free Gemology Courses

The International School of Gemology is now offering its basic gemology mini courses for free. Might be a profitable way for some to get a grasp of various gem materials during the next few social isolation/quarantine weeks: https://schoolofgemology.com/isg-mini-course-program/

There are good segments on identification, gemology equipment, treatments, various gemstones, etc. Some good info for folks interested in gem types, collectors, jewelry buyers, or just about anyone with an interest in rocks.

Apparently the free courses attracted a lot of attention and overloaded their servers.

They are no longer free.
