Serpentine

5" California serpentine. There is a roadcut about 50 miles from me.  This piece had a lot of black but was still Interesting

Here is a picture of them together, gives a better idea of the size difference
The serpentine weighs 8 lb and the Picasso is 2 lb

It would break! That serpentine wants to break  on the light colored lines.  Nephrite Jade would work better
