56th Annual Ventura Gem and Mineral Society show this March 2018
« on: February 14, 2018, 05:01:15 PM »

Fellow rockhounds:  A quick reminder that our annual show the “Ventura Gem & Mineral Society’s 56th Annual Gem, Mineral, Fossil, & Lapidary Show” is coming to the Ventura County Fairgrounds (10 W. Harbor Blvd., Ventura), on Sat., March 3 (10AM-5PM) and Sun., March 4 (10AM-4PM).  There are going to be beautiful displays, the annual Country Store & Plant Sale, silent auctions and a raffle for terrific prizes, fun Kids Activities, a Gold Panning station (new this year!), demonstrators showing rock cutting and jewelry-making techniques, and all sorts of dealers selling rocks, fossils, minerals, jewelry, and lapidary arts supplies.

If you plan on being in the area that weekend, we hope you can make it to the show, and I hope you will forward this email message to friends and relatives you think might be interested in attending. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you at the Fairgrounds!

It is free to attend, and the kids corner is a always a crazy beehive of activity and fun.  I will likely be helping with the silent auction table where you can find some great specimens and rough for pennies on the dollar.

David.
