He said when he can get back on the river this summer he will do some trading if he can find enough agates big enough to sphere instead of paying me. I would love to have a few of these for myself

Man they take a nice shine! I have a couple I've made they are posted somewhere in this section. I've been to the Yellowstone several times collecting, I'd like to find a mossy big enough for a 4" sphere.

Wow...beautiful shape and shine on that!  Those boys are HARD, must have taken lots of patience.  Are those natural inclusions or reflections on the outer surface?

Jhon,

Have you tried using a polariser on the camera lens to reduce the reflections? If you're using a dlsr it needs to be a circular polariser.

Seems counter productive after getting a high polish but it might work to eliminate the photographer from the surface of the sphere.
