Any kind of solution or whatever to put on back of stone to make a translucent gemstone glow that has no light coming in from the back?

I have heard of people using aluminum foil on the back of a stone to reflect light back out.  Haven't tried it so no more info unfortunately.

One method I have used in the past is to use mirror Mylar tape in the bottom of the bezel to prevent silver oxidation from showing thru and it reflects any light coming into the stone. Unfortunately I got it many years ago from 3M and I don't know if they still make the tape. Will have to go on line to find out.

You can use a mirror behind the cab like the one I did here. Its reflects the light coming into the stone back out to the viewer's eye. I used a paper thin plastic type mirror from Michael's that is easy to cut with scissors and light weight enough for basic jeweler's glue to adhere it.

I use the inside of bags of croutons for my salad.  Works great.  A lot thinner than a mirror.  Very nice work BTW.  I hope your Samsung is staying cool!

I was trying to figure out how you knew I had a Samsung...and then I saw it!
Joann Fabrics has them too. And thank you! It was the first cab I made that I was really proud of and that's my first time silversmithing too. A pretty special piece :)
