Covington
« on: July 17, 2017, 09:28:24 PM »

Look at what I put in My garage!
A two head sphere machine. Looks like it was used very little. I know that the last two owners
Never tried to make a sphere with it. They decided that it was too much work
And too messy

That's machine #4. Except one of the home built machines need motors.
The advantage of a two head is that you can use a bigger grinding cup
And you can have a rougher preform and still
Grind it round. They are a little slower than a three head

Ok I have some diamond grinding cups on order as soon as they show up
I will give it a go. I have Chris (he has the same machine) that will come help if I run into trouble.

My cups and adapters are on back order.  I just had to run the machine! so it's back to Old school. SC grit. I have this rose quartz that I ground down and it had some deep gouges in it so I figured I would grind them out being I have rocks in the other two machines.
