Help please texhnique
« on: October 12, 2016, 04:00:29 PM »

Anyone know of a tutorial or book that explains how to make bales like this? I have scene pieces like this at several shows and randomly on Facebook. Really want to try it. I have inlaid crushed stone in wood bracelets but this looks much different. Thanks for any direction you might be able to point me.

Here is a link to a tutorial for something similar. You should be able to adapt the illustrated bail to include a small stone as shown in your example. http://makezine.com/2009/11/17/flashback_wire_wrap_jewelry/

Also here is a link to a search on wire wrapping that I did on YouTube. Might be some ideas for you there also.

Is the bail a solid sheet build up to hold the inlay or something that is wire wrapped?
