Ok, so now I'm really seeking some advice here!  I just bought an older Frantom 10" slab/trim saw that had been reworked and is ready to go.  I'm pretty happy with the purchase and am excited to get cutting!  Just yesterday, a post came on Craigslist and a guy locally has a 12" lortone that is in need of a cleanup, but otherwise is sound.  It looks to be in really great shape from the pictures I see, and he only wants $500 for it, which I think is a steal.  Would I be silly buying it?  Would I gain anything in doing so?  Worst case I clean it up and resell it...I can't imagine I won't be able to sell it for what I might buy it for.  Thanks again for any thoughts!
