OMG, I can hear the screams of all the cabs trapped in that sphere. How cruel. They just want their freedom. Please end their suffering. Let them out!

:LOLOL:  Everytime I see one of Jhon's or Sandsave's spheres, I think the exact same thing!

Lol! all of those eyes of the cabs looking to get out!
We end up with lots of scrap for slabs. Sometimes up to 50%.  Rocks like this I slab up or save the cuts off to slab in the future. When I have a cube cut and I am cutting the preform I will cut slabs off all the corners. It takes time but give me plenty of material for cabs. Sometimes I slab the rock as I am cutting the cube.

Being kinda new here, maybe this has been asked before and I just haven't seen the answer; but do you and/or Sandsave ever put any of your spheres up for sale? If so, where?

I sell them once on a while. My sister is buying this one. I don’t have time to actively try and sell. I am to busy working. I tell my daughter that I am building inventory for when I retire. If you are interested in one pm me. Cost all depends on size and material

I'm with jhon, I slab when cutting performs. Nothing is wasted. I like to see how many cabs I can trap in one sphere! It looks like Jhon trapped quite a few.
Very cool looking sphere.

I have buckets of saw scrap from rainbow oynx, serpentine, Verdi antique and other rock that I don’t have much interest in cutting into cabs. I am planning on donating them to the rock club.
