Painting with stone
« on: October 21, 2015, 06:00:45 AM »

Hi there.
Did not have anything really in quite a while, but while the Montana still needs another week and the Tasmanian material a new head  bricks21 , this one is ready to wear.

Got the idea recently, after a member took a completely different take on our challenges' theme.
Glad she did, as this caused me to look into a different direction too.

Took a Pawancawara cut-off from Daniel, re-purposed a Fire Agate done years ago, and an orphaned ugly duckling Pietersite that was send a long time ago as a filler in a bx from Christopher.

Pawancawara and Fire-Agate became a brush, and the Pietersite fits perfectly with the strong color-differences here, as a background.

Lowered into the Pietersite and then pinned and epoxied after giving a little silver wrap, ready to wear.

Best colours I got today

Thanks for looking, remain with best regards, Kurt

Wow!  I love how you repurposed these pieces!  It's a gorgeous image to see all these pieces together and used in such a composition.    :icon_sunny:
You inspire me!
