Dogs
« on: February 01, 2017, 08:02:48 AM »

I have a passion for my French Brittany hunting dogs. And breeding them. Yesterday my girl star had a litter of nine puppies. Six girls and three boys. Five orange and white two black and white and two tricolor. This is here third litter and we have never run into a problem before, the last puppy didn't show up (I always do an X-ray the week before they are due to get a count to makes sure all of the pups are born) she ended up have a c section, the pup was big and he was stuck in the horn of the uterus. Everything is good now.
I sure love puppies!!

Oh my gosh, how cute!  That's a lot of puppies for mama.  She needs extra love.

Puppies are the best and puppy kisses are even better.  Especially when you have nine of them kissing you all at once!   :LOLOL:

There is nothing better than getting in with a bunch of puppies and have them climbing, bitting , playing and cuddling all over you.  It dosent last long enough. Eight weeks goes by pretty fast. They go to good homes. People that are willing to pay $1,000 for a pup is going to
Take care of them. It still breaks my heart when they go home with thier new families

I run Labs in AKC hunt tests. I have thought about breeding a few times, not sure I could give up the pups. Congrats Sir! Nice looking pups.  Vic

Here is the little girl that will Have a forever home with me.
She has orange on her face. It will lighten up as she grows. My wife is protesting me keeping one but I have an emotional attachment to the parents. This is the mothers last litter and dad is almost 11 yo and I don't think he will produce anouther litter. This is his 14th litter we were trying to figure out how many puppies that he has fathered. Best idea is over 100

I will post more pictures as they grow ( they have doubled in size in one week). Right now all they do is sleep and eat. Eyes should open some time in the next week. They were born a few days early so the eyes will open a few days late.
