I seem to remember a banded Bigg's jasper that looked something like that, with the greens.
Does not strike me as wild horse but there are many different looks from the same dig.....

So, like many so called jaspers, it appears to be a soft rhyolite.  Does it scratch with a knife? Similarly, some thundereggs just cash it in as soon as you slice them.

Did you buy it?  I always try and test the hardness with a pocket knife and a quartz crystal I carry with me before I buy it. Had someone try to sell me serpentine as jade

yeah, i gave $20 for it thinking it was quality picture jasper.
live and learn, pocket knife goes with me next time.
