Any colorado tips

I am in the denver/colorado springs area until the end of the month. Can anyone give me some places to to collect, I am going on a dig near Lake George with Pinnacle 5 mining.

The Pikes Peak batholithe near Colorado Springs has smoky quartz vugs scattered throughout.  Not an easy search.  If you can find someone who knows the area you will have a better chance.

Thanks I did do some digging on devils head and found a few smokey"s but very slow
