Title: Getting a good idea of wear percentage.
Post by: Neural on December 31, 2017, 03:35:43 PM
I'm going to be selling my Genie soon, but before I post anything anywhere, I'd like to get a good idea of how worn the wheels are on it.  They still seem to cut really well, but I don't really have a way of testing them against new ones.  This is important, as it obviously affects the value for the end buyer.

Any ideas on some form of benchmark for how well they should cut, and so on?

Jon, I can't believe your wheels are that worn at all.  You basically cut opal on it, correct?  You only cut on it for what, 2 years maybe?  I'd think they're probably not that worn.  It would help if you could post pictures of them.

That's what I was thinking.  I'm going to test the water splashers tomorrow and take video as well as pictures.  Will post the wheel pics here.
