Jade info for those with the disease
« on: December 08, 2017, 07:13:44 PM »

Yep, I love Jade, it is a disease. I just stumbled upon this site which has great pictures, info and stories. Also, they show this years BC Jade going to auction. They are back to mining Polar Jade which is incredible... if you can find it for under $100 a pound for the good stuff. Anyway, check out this link:
http://greenmountainjade.com/products/rough-jade/
There are more links at the bottom of each page to more info and pictures. Sorry, I just cannot get enough of this stuff. So tomorrow morning I will be out doing some jade cabochons in the shop.

It certainly is a gorgeous material. The screen carvings they show are exquisite.
