Unexpected score
« on: September 25, 2014, 02:41:09 PM »

Just sitting here minding my own business and I get a phone call that this company I do business with has a bunch of commercial designer glass pieces they were getting rid of. They said if I got there this morning, they wouldn't fill the dumpster with it. Well being me, I was there 1/2 hour before they opened up. After filling the car up with as many tubs as I could reasonably, I bought each of the guys lunch. Made them happy, me delighted and  owner of the company thrilled he didn't waste dumpster space with all these tubs of glass.  Here's a photo of one of the tubs I filled up and I got 7 tubs of pretty much the same. Dropped off 3 tubs to my daughter and shes home doing the same as me ( drooling. ).  So an any one say WND CHIMES?

I had to laugh at the unintentional pun in the title of this thread.  When you cut glass, it's called a "score" and the newsletter from Spectrum Glass is called The Score.

An excellent score, indeed!   :laughing6:

Yeah but now my daughter is making me buff and drill all her pieces first. Some times I wonder why I do ths to my self... Just a little note. Some times even free has a cost.
